Hi, We’re Devan and Carmel, the artists behind Wildwood Wishes. Our business started as a small idea to make something beautiful with a table saw in the backyard garage and has grown into a full mixed media craft and woodworking business. A true mom and pop shop, this husband and wife team uses their unique talents and strengths to make colorful, unique jewelry and home decor.
Our products are handmade from start to finish. Devan is the woodworker and graphic artist, crafting each of the fine woodworking pieces and most of the digital designs used for creating our products. After the online design is created, we utilize a laser engraving machine at a local community maker space to create the base wood and acrylic designs. After that, our lead artist and painter (the true creative genius behind all of our designs), Carmel transforms the raw wood into colorful masterpieces. Finally, we finish each piece with a protective sealant to give our products a hard outer coating, increasing their longevity and shine.
